Ingredients for Garlic Parmesan Chicken

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves, chopped

Instructions for Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Cook Chicken Breast

Cut chicken breast into 3/4 inch thick cutlets. Seasoning- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Oil and butter - Dump butter into hot oil and add olive oil. The oil should be hot before the butter melts. Searing chicken - Evenly sprinkle salt and pepper all over chicken breast. Add garlic powder to the spice mix. Pour 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil into the skillet. When butter melts and starts to foam, place chicken cutlets in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until the chicken has a golden crust and is cooked through. Remove cooked chicken breasts from the skillet and loosely cover with aluminum foil to avoid it from drying out. Make the sauce

Fry Garlic and flour - In the same skillet where you have cooked your chicken, saute garlic until it is aromatic. Then add flour and cook until there is no raw smell.

Possible Variations

You can use boneless chicken thigh. If you do, reduce the cooking time to 6-7 minutes on each side. You can make the sauce without flour instead of using flour. But you will have lumps in the sauce.
